The strongest predictor of therapeutic success isn't a technique, but trust. Trust in a therapist creates a safe space to explore who you are, and trust in yourself builds confidence to pursue your goals. This was one of the key pillars I took away from my master's program at UNC. Therapy, along with other self-discovery practices, helps people examine the norms and beliefs they inherited and figure out what they actually value. That clarity changes everything: how you see yourself, and who you choose to let close. This is what drives my work: helping people understand themselves so they can design meaningful lives and relationships.
