My ADHD journey has been one of trial, error, and self-discovery. ADHD isn’t a deficit of attention, but an executive function disorder- more about directing focus rather than lacking it. I've learned that the basics- hydration, movement, and simple (modular) routines set the foundation for everything else I do. The ADHD brain craves dopamine - aka novelty - so I build structures that enable flexibility. Time blindness is another huge challenge that requires me to create visual tools to make time and tasks more tangible. I'm always happy to share my toolkit of favorite resources with others navigating their ADHD.
